Woodstock, Towne Lake, and the neighborhoods out along 575 — where most of what we fix belongs to somebody who works from home and cannot afford a day offline.
Woodstock has grown enormously in the last two decades, and a large share of that growth is households commuting down 575 some days and working from a spare bedroom on the others. When the work computer stops working, it is not an inconvenience to get to at the weekend — it is a lost working day.
That shapes how we schedule here. We would rather come out promptly and work around your calls than book you in for next Thursday.
Towne Lake and the subdivisions around it are mostly newer construction, which surprises people when the Wi-Fi is still bad in half the house. Newer does not mean better for signal: the equipment goes wherever the service entered the building, the houses are wide, and the bonus room over the garage is usually the furthest point from it.
Downtown Woodstock has filled with independent businesses over the last decade, most running a few computers and a card reader rather than an IT department. The same onsite arrangement applies — see business IT support.
Woodstock is priced the same as every other part of our service area.
Free estimate before any work begins, and you approve the price before we start. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty on our labor, plus whatever warranty the manufacturer provides on any parts we install. If you are already a customer and your question takes us under fifteen minutes on the phone, there is no charge for it.
A trip charge may apply for longer distances. The warranty does not cover a machine that is re-infected with malware after we clean it.
