Structured cabling for offices that already exist — terminations, patch panels, wall plates, and finding out where the cable someone ran in 2009 actually goes.
Our cabling work is retrofit work: existing offices, occupied buildings, and drop ceilings. We run cable through the ceiling to where the desks actually are now, terminate both ends properly, and test what we installed instead of assuming it is good.
New construction is not our trade, and we do not pretend it is. When walls are still open, hire a cabling contractor to pull the wire — they are equipped for it and it is faster and cheaper done that way. We are happy to come in behind them: terminating, testing, patching, and getting the network live is exactly where we are useful.
An access point is only as good as the cable feeding it, which is why these two jobs usually arrive together. Desks, printers, cameras, and registers do better on wire; laptops and phones need coverage that actually reaches the far corner of the building. Part of the same conversation as business IT support.
Cabling is quoted after we see the building, because the ceiling, the route and the distance decide the work — the survey for that is free.
Free estimate before any work begins, and you approve the price before we start. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty on our labor, plus whatever warranty the manufacturer provides on any parts we install. If you are already a customer and your question takes us under fifteen minutes on the phone, there is no charge for it.
A trip charge may apply for longer distances. The warranty does not cover a machine that is re-infected with malware after we clean it.
